Drive-In Fun Without the Mosquitos

Just a quick note about a fun movie night that will make you feel like a kid again. 

Tonight (July 30th) is Drive-In Night at the Capitol,  featuring “Tarantula” (1955) and “Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster” (1966).

Something spooky is coming...

Halloween decorations are starting to catch my eye on the way home from work. That reminds me – YouNews at WKTV.COM is running a Halloween Hijinks Contest. Submit Halloween videos and photos for a chance to win a Canon PowerShot Digital Camera! There are 4 different categories, so there will be 4 winners nationally.
There is plenty to do before Halloween night to put you in a creepy mood. One of my favorites is the Utica Zoo Spooktacular…October 16, 17, 23 & 24 from 6 to 9pm. There’s 13 Trick-or-Treat Stations for the little ones and the Haunted Hall and Haunted Hayride for older children, teens and adults.

Fall in Full Swing

The rainy days of summer are past.  The reward for a sub-par summer is…a rainy (snowy?) cold autumn!  In the interest of fair play, there must be some worthwhile events to pass the chilly time in Central NY.
